Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest non-profit interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, founded in 1989 for supporting and developing student exchange. ESN is present in more than 370 Higher Education Institutions from 35 countries. ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchanges on different levels, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad ('internationalisation at home').
ExchangeAbility is a project started by ESN, EDF and Youth Agora with a short and long term goal.
The short term goal aims at making projects and activities of the local sections accessible for everyone; a booklet to guide the sections in this process was produced and made available to ESN sections and other organizations. More information can be found on exchangeability.esn.org. This project started with the support of the Council of Europe and it is still developed by ESN.
The ESN Communication Committee is one of the five committees of ESN and its focus areas are communication, graphic design, press & media.
The committee is recognized as advisory body of ESN and the Communication Manager in the Board is the person in charge of it assisted by a Chair and two Vice-Chairs.
